Low-Load Multi-Directional Isolation for Cameras, UAV Payloads and Airborne Electronics

The GR4-6.7D-A Wire Rope Isolator is designed for lightweight equipment that needs a relatively soft suspension and additional deformation travel. With a rated vertical static load of 6.7 N and maximum vertical deflection of 49.3 mm, it is particularly suitable for compact cameras, optical sensors, aerial-survey payloads and small communication modules.

Its arch-type stainless steel cable arrangement responds to vibration and shock from several directions. Instead of relying on rubber, the isolator uses metal wire rope deformation and strand-to-strand friction to absorb energy. This makes it a practical option for equipment exposed to repeated vibration, transportation impact, temperature variation or long storage periods.

The GR4-6.7D-A is also available with six mounting configurations, allowing engineers to match through holes, threaded holes and countersunk connections to different installation structures.

    Large available deflection

    A maximum vertical deflection of 49.3 mm provides additional movement for energy absorption and helps the isolator respond progressively under vibration and shock loading.

    Stainless steel wire rope construction
