JGX-0240D-4.5A Wire Rope Isolator for Effective Vibration Reduction
The JGX-0240D-4.5A combines stainless-steel wire rope with precision-machined metal retaining bars to form a compact Wire Isolation Mount.
When vibration or shock reaches the mounted equipment, the wire loops deform in compression, tension and shear. Movement between the individual strands creates frictional damping, helping dissipate part of the input energy before it reaches sensitive components.
This operating principle also gives the isolator useful multi-axis characteristics. It can accommodate vibration and displacement from more than one direction without relying on a single compression axis.
For transportation or industrial machinery where vibration conditions are rarely perfectly uniform, this can provide a more practical solution than a conventional single-axis mount.
