The JGX-0480D-61A Wire Rope Mount is designed for equipment that needs relatively firm support within a compact installation space. With a 61 kg maximum static load in compression and 13.7 mm maximum deflection, it provides controlled movement while absorbing vibration and mechanical shock.
Its stainless-steel wire rope structure combines spring action with friction damping, allowing the mount to work without relying on a conventional rubber spring element. This makes the JGX-0480D-61A suitable for equipment exposed to repeated vibration, impact and changing environmental conditions.
With a height of only 36 mm, this Wire Isolation Mount can be integrated into compact assemblies such as imaging systems, aerial survey equipment and airborne communication electronics.

How the Wire Rope Structure Manages Vibration
The damping mechanism is mechanical rather than elastomeric.
As vibration reaches the Steel base wire rope isolator, the stainless-steel cable loops flex under load. Relative movement between individual wire strands generates friction, converting part of the vibration energy into heat.
This construction provides three functions in one compact component:
load support → elastic movement → friction damping
Because damping comes from the wire rope itself, no separate hydraulic damper or rubber spring is required for the basic isolation mechanism.
